sometimes you just get a really crappy batch--i've had packages where it seems i had to toss half the sheets.

you know, i've never had tomato soup. i'm sure i tried a spoonful of my mom's when i was a kid, but my dislike of thick hot liquids has prevented me from attempting it again. someday, perhaps.

i'm just eating breakfast right now, but i might need apples & peanut butter for second breakfast.

Thanks for the tips on phyllo. Last time I tried using it, the sheets ripped when I was trying to separate them. That made weird edges and made it less sturdy. Maybe I didn't let it thaw properly. I'll try again soon, but right now I'm working on perfecting my favorite - tomato soup.

PS - went to Peanut Butter & Co last week and got the Elvis. It was fantastic!
