Oh, I know you guys are way too smart to fall for that.
You’re a bright, conscious, aware-of-the-world-around-you bunch. And you’d have to have a really long cord to reach under that rock you’re living under if you’re not aware of the upcoming election.
I am not telling you whom you should vote for—you can probably guess which way I generally feel compelled to lean, if for no other reason than a crippling fear of the alternative (given that we’re basically left to gag on a two-party system for the time being). I’m here to point out a decent source of information.
My friend Dave at the Greeniest spent a bunch of time checking out voter registration for all 50 states, D.C., and Guam and friends. It’s linktastic.
Did you move recently? Have you just not registered? I understand if you’re feeling really cynical and hopeless, like it doesn’t matter. Believe me I get that. It just might be worth making sure you’re legal in case you get the urge at the last minute.
