It's 1501 NE Davis (at Sandy). They're not officially open yet, despite the parade. Friday night we heard drums and thought it was the high school marching band. It kept getting louder and louder so we looked out the window and it was in fact a parade, with hot chicks on roller skates, a bunch of people in costume and otherwise fancy dress, and maybe a couple hundred followers. I got some pictures, which I'll post whenever they do open and I can give 'em a try. (I couldn't go down there Friday because I really suck at crowds.) Between the parade and the fireworks later, which I could also see from my window, it made me so happy I moved here.

On Myspace, they're Voodoo Doughnut, Too & they are going to try to be open 24/7 by July...and the phone should be hooked up by the end of this week, so maybe they'll at least be open a bit by this week. I keep looking for the gate to open to the parking lot. As soon as that happens, I'm there.

**i just saw a sign in my lobby that said "voodoo hours 8pm to 1pm (24 hours soon they say)" i don't know if that 1pm should really be a 1am or not. maybe i'll just check it out tonight.
