
No more mystery rolls for me. I used this recipe from jessigurr on VegWeb, halving it so it would fit in my bread machine. Even so, I got seven rolls out of it. And they taste like real (but fresh) hamburger buns, not just some generic bread product. I’m going to try onion and poppy next time, like you find in the Russian and Polish neighborhoods.

And here’s a deceptively yummy-looking photo. I used a basic white dough to make these cinnamon rolls, but I way underestimated how much cinnamon and sugar to use, so they came out tasting like mildly sweetish and cinnamonish bread. There’s potential here, though, so I’ll figure it out and let you know.
